My husband and I were fortunate to have found this gem tucked away in the rolling hills of southern Tennessee. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and Cynthia and her crew made it extra special for us. The house sits atop a hill, and glows in among the surrounding lush greenery. We were greeted by Abigail and Lars, but were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Cynthia and spend some time chatting later. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with these warm and gracious people. The house is amazing, full of beautiful objects, but very inviting. The room was very comfortable, and I loved waking up to see the gorgeous countryside through the window. Our room opened onto a balcony, perfect for journalling and doing yoga. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer, but we hope to return!

A modern Victorian sits up on a hill, overlooking over 250 acres of natural farm pastureland inhabited by grass-fed cows, goats, a couple of chickens, some friendly cats, a dog, and innumerable hummingbirds, herons and who knows what other creatures I had yet to discover. My room looked out over all this glory -- what a joy to wake up to that view! The room was immaculate, the breakfast (made by Bethany) spectacular -- in my case it was homemade pancakes and strawberry compote, scrambled eggs, yogurt and fruit.) Cynthia and her husband Lars could not be more gracious and welcoming. If this is life in Tennessee -- or even just a fairy-tale version -- I want to come back! Highly recommended.

Our stay was wonderful. the room was well appointed and the view out the French doors onto lush rolling landscape was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning was great. Everyone was very friendly. We wished we could have stayed an extra night!

I truly cannot say enough about the property, the house, or the hosts! This property is about an hour from just about everything you might want to do. Including the Jack Daniels distillery, Nashville, and other touristy spots. My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old baby. Andy (that's what Cynthia goes by, ask her the story of why... it's so cute!) let us ship diapers and other baby necessities there so we wouldn't have to fly with them. She even had a travel high chair, a foam play mat and a few other baby goodies waiting for us when we got there! The home is arguably one of the most gorgeous and detail oriented homes I have ever been in! Every detail is superb. There has been so much love and thought poured into the creation of this home, and it absolutely shows. I'm pretty sure it's a requirement for everyone within a certain mile radius to be kind, empathetic, and just all around good people. And the hosts are no exception! They thought through every detail to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay. Right down to the fact that they thought to have a high chair waiting for us. Side note - this is a working ranch so there were cows, chickens, cats, dogs and other animals around, which our daughter LOVED. We also bought some of the farms grass fed steak to cook up for dinner while we were there. You guys.... I cut my cooked steak with a plastic knife it was so tender. I'm not even kidding. Try it! You won't be disappointed, I promise. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back again and again! :)

Response from Cynthia:
Wow! Thank you, Lauren. We loved having you and are thrilled you enjoyed the loving care we put into our home. Thanks, too, for sharing so much about our farm because, although we agree with everything you said, we don't want to brag too much. We prefer to let people see what we're doing at the farm and discover nature's mysterious ways for themselves during their visit. Side note: Because you stayed with us you've helped us maintain our local all-natural farm so we can keep providing healthy food for our community, too. We're so glad and grateful you chose us ... please come back soon!

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this beautiful house for 5 days. Our room (Sunset Adventure Room) had an amazing view of the farm and landscape. They made us breakfast every morning and it was all delicious and always had new options everyday. The hospitality of the owners is superb, they are such kind and genuine people. Everything was clean and comfortable. They accomadated anything we needed. They even left us little treats for when we came back home. We really felt right at home. Would recommend and will definitely come again if we are ever in town!
