Our neighborhood is very quiet, as you are coming up our driveway you will see cows on our property they belong to a dairy across Hwy 116. The cows are brought to us when the calves have been weaned off their mothers and they stay here for six to nine months.
To the left the brown house it's a working little ranch they raise pigs, sheep, goats and have a vegetable garden run by an organization who teach mentally challenged people to become independent, they work, grow and sell the vegetables and animals. They put a sign out when they have vegetables to sell, if your interested you can buy from them. Further up their driveway the grey house they boarder horses and train them. Across from our home on the corner of Hessel and Henning our neighbors there, they rescue animals, they have a llama, miniature pony, two donkeys, pigs, ducks and dogs and cats. Feel free to check out them out. The animals like visitors.

I was born in New Mexico and visited California frequently in my youth. Both my husband and I are retired from Hewlett-Packard. My husband and I love to travel and have visited a number of other states and countries. We like staying at B&B's and that is what inspired us to get into this adventure. We like our little ranch and enjoy sharing this setting with visitors to the area. I firmly believe that treating others as we wish to be treated is the foundation of being good hosts.
