The city of Trinidad is located in the central region of Cuba, specifically in the south of the Cuban province of Sancti Spíritus, and is the capital of the municipality of the same name.
House Hostal Basso. It is located in. The Villa de la Santísima Trinidad was the third villa founded by the Spanish Crown in Cuba, in early 1514. The town was founded with the presence of Adelantado Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar, and it evolved rapidly, which made it one of the most prosperous in the largest of the Antilles.
The conservation and restoration work undertaken by specialists in this area of south-central Cuba, and the love that its inhabitants profess for their city, made it one of the best-preserved colonial cities not only in Cuba but also in America, and it was included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO together with the Valley of the Sugar Mills in 1988, an area where the sugar industry prospered with the arrival of the Iznaga, Borrell and Brunet families in the mid-nineteenth century.
Municipio Trinidad
This sugar production, which enriched the owners of these mills, led to the emergence of both Trinidad and the Valley, mansions and palaces that are today the pride of Cuban culture. The date of its founding is celebrated every year with a Trinitarian Culture Week; in January 2009, the city celebrated its 495th birthday.
Honeymoon
Beautiful beaches, lush nature, and multiple hotel facilities, Trinidad has all the conditions to make your honeymoon an unforgettable experience. The villa's natural attractions are complemented by the experience in organizing offers for young couples who dream of getting married in a tropical paradise. Attend a game of "pelota" (baseball), Cuba's national sport, with the children at any of the stadiums in the area, where the loud and enthusiastic support of the defenders of each team and Cuban music is never lacking. Visit the Escambray natural parks and organize horseback riding tours through the Trinidad countryside. I recommend that guests do not exchange their currency in Havana, but ask first about the exchange rate. So you don't get ripped off. Because the value of the EURO and USD is high, and the state exchange rate is very low...
