Rare to find a single-family home with yard and parking that is walkable to Harvard!
This 3 BR, 2.5 baths single family home, with a large eat-in kitchen, is perfect for the whole family. Walkable to Harvard University and Porter Square, it also has two in-line parking spots and a LARGE, private yard!
This property was just renovated in early 2017.
步行至哈佛!独栋别墅 - 非常适合家庭长租!可步行前往哈佛大学!- 三间卧室- 2.5厕所- 大型餐厅- 私人院子!- 最新的装修!
- A friend or two coming over for cocktails in the garden? Great! But we do not want real events or parties. This is a very early-to-sleep sort of neighborhood and neighbors will complain if there is any noise to speak of.
- We request that air conditioners not be turned less than 70 degrees and not be left on when you are out of the apartment. This avoids the risk of freezing the system not to mention reducing environmental impact.
- Please make sure there are not more than two cars and that they are fully pulled in. It's a tight driveway and you have an SUV or minivan, it will probably only fit that one vehicle. If possible, please let us know the make, model and license number of any cars.

Born in Boston, I live between Cambridge and Shanghai. Over the last two decades, I have lived all over China in Taipei, Hong Kong, Hangzhou, Dalian, Chengdu, Beijing, and Shanghai as well as in Berlin and Chicago. I have worked as a business consultant, entrepreneur and freelance writer and photographer. I majored in history at the University of Chicago and my interest in China was sparked by reading the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, one of China’s major historical novels, at age fourteen.
In over a decade based in China, mostly in Beijing and recently in Shanghai, I have worked as a Director at Kamsky Associates Inc. and Editor-in-Chief of LifeStyle Magazine and gained international recognition for the street style blog a valuable record of the looks and attitudes of Beijingers at the start of the 21st Century. As an independent consultant, I created exciting collaborations and content for Lacoste, American Rag Cie, The HUB and these clients. For over three years, I also served as Lifestyle Advisor for the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. I have been invited to speak on the China media and fashion environments by P&G, H&M, Corneliani, Benetton, and Fudan University.
I now work with my wife, Jane, on introducing secondhand fashion to China, called Pawnstar.
