Where you’ll be

Pauanui, Waikato, New Zealand

Pauanui is such a beautiful place to relax, or to get active. You might want to climb Mt Pauanui, or if climbing mountains isn't your thing, a refreshing walk along the beach. There is a flying fox for the kids at Gallagher Park, or alternatively a whole playground at Given Grove. There is a wharf which we sometimes jump off for fun (at high tide! only if you're game enough & a confident swimmer), or you can do some fishing.
The Supervalue is our local grocer, and we often walk or bike there as it's only about a 10 minute walk. Pauanui is flat so it's easy to get around. For eating out, we love JK Bar & kitchen, and there is the Pauanui Club which offers tasty buffet meals, you can check out the cafe scene at the main shops on Jubilee Drive, or buy fresh bread at the bakery. There's even a visitors centre across the road from the shops and church. To fill your car up, we have G.A.S, the local gas station on the corner of Sheppards Ave.

We’re a family that loves the beach and the outdoors. We like to bike, skate & swim together. We love to travel and experience different cultures. Some rewarding trips we took were to Fiji, to build dwellings for villagers. We see life as a journey and an adventure to be enjoyed.
