This apartment is located in the barrio de las Letras district, right opposite the main entrance to the Reina Sofía Museum - one of Spain’s most visited spots –, across a pedestrian square bursting with bars and restaurants for al fresco drinking and dining. Just 5 minutes away from Atocha train station, the Prado Museum, the Royal Botanical Garden and many more tourist must-sees in Madrid. Well connected to the rest of the city by public transport and surrounded by all kinds of facilities.

The Reina Sofía IV apartment is located in an early 20th Century building provided with a keyed lift accessible from the ground floor. The building has been fully renovated while retaining its traditional charm.
The apartment comes with 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 people. The master bedroom has a large double bed with black wood finishes and communicates with an adjoining dressing room provided with a single sofa bed. Access to the private bathroom with shower is granted through the adjoining room. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are both equipped with a double bed and have direct access to a shared bathroom.
The living/dining area is provided with a comfortable sofa that turns into a double bed for 2 additional guests and an extendable table for dining with friends and family. The integrated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay.
Right by the apartment’s entrance, there is an additional guest bathroom with washbasin and shower.

The apartment has been renovated (March 2017) and decorated to make you feel at home. It comes with Internet, air conditioning and soundproof windows.

A fantastic choice.The apartment is located within an area called CENTRAL MADRID, where there are strict traffic restrictions. Please note that, in order to access the apartment by private vehicle, you must have the corresponding approval from the DGT (Department of Motor Vehicles), otherwise you can only access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC (licensed car with private driver).

Atocha is the zone surrounds Atocha train station located in the Public square of Emperor Carlos V, facing the station is The Reina Sofia Museum of Modern Art, Paseo del Prado or Paseo del Arte, Retiro park and Ronda de Atocha (where there are several cultural centers). In the area there are also a number of art galleries, restaurants and shops selling a range of curiosities.
The Reina Sofia Museum of Contemporary Art opens on Mondays, making it a good choice for a day when the other museums in the city are closed. The museum is one of the essential museums of the city. besides the temporary exhibition halls and the halls devoted to the permanent collection the museum houses one of Picasso's most important pieces “The Guernica”, as well as many other important works of contemporary artists.
The museum is located in a reformed building of the XVIII with modern elements and 2 years ago a new area was to him agrgado designed by the architect Jean Nouvel, with a showy red structure in the cover. Within the new extension of the museum you have the restaurant Arola Madrid run by cook Sergi Arola, one of most famous of Spain. It is an informal restaurant, dedicated to the Mediterranean kitchen in his essence and where its modern inner design, divided in three different atmospheres plays an important role.
