The house was so cozy! :) Our private rooms were looking awesome and had facilities to make tea/coffee, great view showing the well-maintained garden, the sea view at a distance not very far and simply green & peaceful surroundings. But most importantly, Kay and her husband were so lovely and made us feel very welcome, making sure we have access to everything we could need. Thanks also for recommending things to visit as well :)

Kay made us so welcome in her beautiful house a short distance from the sea. Greeted by her husband, we had tea in the luxuriant garden and was kindly given a lift to nearby Cosmeston Mediaeval village, before our delicious evening meal which she kindly provided, as we were on foot. Our room was very comfortable with tv and all teamaking needs met, even a homemade welsh cake. Ideal for anyone doing the Welsh Coast path. To be thoroughly recommended.

Kay (and her husband, Keith), Were more than patient with me, I got hopelessly lost, only because I don't have GPS, and am equally inept with directions (which I asked people out walking the dog), and when contacted, Kay gave me clear and concise directions. She even waited outside their home for me to enable me to find exactly where they are located in the road. My unusual dietary requests didn't phase them at all. The décor of my room was tranquil. Everything I needed was there. I was cosy, in bed, under the duvet and the pretty pastel quilt with enough plump pillows to prop me up in bed to enjoy the telly. The towels are fluffy and soft and plenty of hot water for a shower. I usually bring all my own toiletries, but if you forget yours, the basics are provided for. There's wardrobe space and chest of drawer space. Good lighting and a variety of mirrors. Beautiful view of the garden. The tea tray provides you with a great selection of hot beverages and fresh milk PLUS a bottle of water. And the best part of any tea tray I have ever had - Kay's homemade Welsh cake. You can actually pre-order and purchase from Kay these scrummie, yummie treats! Much better as a souvenir to present to family and/or friends. No one needs another anything to hang around and collect dust, but they would really Love, a truly homemade, Welsh cake, made by a Welsh woman. (I even, put in an order for gluten free ones, for a particular pal). There is a comprehensive guide to the surrounding Welsh sights in your room so you can peruse in your own time. Kay and Keith have the knowledge to provide you with best way to get to your destination. If you want a friendly, five star, homestay experience this is the place for you. If not, try a corporate, bland, generic, anywhere in the World chain.

This was my first experience of Airbnb and was delighted with the experience. Kay communicated clearly and appropriately. She was understanding that my flight had been delayed and picked me up from the airport. Tea and Welsh cakes (she made them herself and I will be ordering them as gifts) were offered as a welcome and we enjoyed a natter before retiring to a bedroom and ensuite bathroom that would be the envy of many a hotel. Beautifully clean and fresh the sheets were particularly soft and I had one of the best nights sleep I have had in a strange bed ever! Breakfast was healthy and delicious with home made fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice followed by my choice of poached eggs tomato and toast with homemade marmalade. Kay was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and delivered me to my appointment which was only a mile away. She was warm interested and engaged. The Perfect Host! Thank you Kay.
