The location of Ginette's apartment was very nice, right by the beach, and many shops and stores. We had 3 sets of keys, which made it very easy for our whole group to come and go as we pleased.
Otherwise, our stay was not quite as expected. We did not meet Ginette, as she had her sister run the communication with the apartment. Communication was fairly difficult, as we did not speak Hebrew or French, and their English was extremely limited. The instructions in the apartment are also only in French. We were also originally given the wrong code for the front door, and the wifi password is not exactly as listed in the apartment.
I had to go to another location in the city, where her sister worked in order to pick up the keys, which was a little inconvenient.
There is no air conditioning, as is listed on the website, only fans. As well, the washing machine did not work, which meant that we were unable to do laundry throughout our stay.
One night, a woman came into the apartment who only spoke Russian, which none of us understand, and tried to tell us that a group of potential renters were coming by to see the apartment unit. We were told to wait around the apartment for 30 minutes until they arrived. They then spent about half an hour wandering around the apartment, looking through all of the rooms, while we were there. This was quite uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a bit of an unusual experience.
