Beautiful 18th Century cottage with views of rural countryside. Exposed brick, concrete floors and reclaimed timber details, give this cottage a modern country style. The bedrooms have new luxurious mattresses and fresh white bedding. The bathroom has a bath and shower with amazing water pressure! The kitchen/living are open plan and great for cosy nights and meals together.
The cottage is 8 minutes walk to Glastonbury Festival site, through the stunning village of Pilton.

The space

There are three bedrooms, two comfortable doubles (one super King size, which can be two singles) upstairs and a twin room downstairs, which can also be made up as a large double.

Guest have use of the whole cottage and garden. Parking for one car is directly outside the house with space along the road for additional cars.

Interaction with guests

We live in the village and so we are generally available to help with any queries.

Other things to note

The cottage is perfectly situated for those attending Glastonbury festival and a village pass for you car is available so that you can park easily by the house. It is an 8 minute walk to the top of the festival site which brings you out near the Pyramid stage field.

The cottage is about 20 minutes drive to Babington House, 15 minutes drives to Bruton and 20 minutes drive to Glastonbury Tor.

We would prefer that you kept pets downstairs. There are also child locks on all the kitchen units, which can be activated if you have small children. There are kids bowls and cutlery available too. We have 2 x young children, so anything you need, please ask in advance, as we probably have it.

- Please respect the neighbours. Pilton has a real mix of residents from young to old and all are valued.

- Please park where we indicate and if you in the garden at night enjoying the view and a glass of wine, please appreciate that there are residents who might want to get some sleep, so keep the noise at respectful levels.

- Please take shoes and wellies off at the door. There are plenty of hooks to hang wet coats on and a huge mat and wellie boot shelf in the porch.
- If you have loads of muddy festival gear, please let it dry and shake mud off before you stick it in the machine, as the clay/mud will clog the washing machine.

Misty has done a great job at the cottage which exudes shabby chic. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were top notch. The 6 of us had a wonderful time and visited Wells and Cheddar Gorge

Great cottage for a 4 night trip, very chic decor but with everything you need. Brilliant situated to visit all the attractions in East Somerset, beaches, hills and history. Highly recommended.

Wonderful cottage that looks exactly like what you see in the pictures. Beautiful, stylish, clean and very comfortable. Very suitable for families with young kids. Misty and Reggie were incredibly helpful and patient with us and very easy to contact. They arranged high chair and travel cot and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Lovely area with shops only 5 mins drive away and loads of nice walks close by. Would definitely recommend this cottage to families or groups of friends that want a nice few days away.

A fabulous place to experience the countryside. My wife and kids fell in love with Misty's cute and lovely cottage. Great place to have breakfast out in the back garden as well!

The cottage was so charming and adorable. We stayed for two nights to explore Wiltshire and Somerset and found the cottage to be well situated for exploring the area. Our group was made up of my husband and I, our two young children, and my parents. There was plenty of space for all of us, and everyone had great sleeps in the most comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. I'd highly recommend this cottage for a family getaway to a quiet spot.

Beautiful place. Very rustic with lots of character. Although in a secluded location it is central to some great tourist destinations. The owners were great and very helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommended!!
