We are situated in the sleepy village of Etsaut in the Pyrenees National Park, on the Camino de Santiago de Compostella and the GR10 long-distance footpath.

A tastefully restored, old stone village house. A great atmosphere and an ideal base from which to walk, climb and explore the beautiful National Park.
In 2019 we were awarded the "Esprit du Parc" marque, by the Pyrenees National Park, in recognition of our green/environmental credentials.

The space
We are a Vegetarian B&B (Chambre d'Hote). The prices quoted are for bed and breakfast, including 1 or 2 bedrooms (depending on the number of guests in your group), your own private bathroom, and shared use (with the host) of the lounge, dining room and kitchen. You also have full access to the rear garden.
One bedroom contains a double bed, and the other contains three single beds.
There is a 15% reduction for stays of 7 nights.
Vegetarian evening meals (table d'hote) are also available (1 day's notice required). The cost is €19 per person for the (3 course) menu du jour. Alcohol is not included, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Where you’ll be

Etsaut, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

In addition to the many spectacular mountain walks (many of which are within walking distance of the house), the main nearby tourist attractions (which you can checkout online) are...
Le Chemin de la Mature - now a part of the GR10 long-distance footpath. It was carved out of a sheer cliff-face 300 years ago to transport logs for the masts of French naval ships. - a very spectacular walk (starts 2km from Etsaut)

Le fort du Portalet - built in 1845 to prevent/deter any possible invasion of the valley from Spain. During the last war it was used by the Nazis and Vichy the government to house political prisoners. After the war Marshal Petain was himself imprisoned there. (3km from Etsaut)

Borce - a very picturesque medieval village, on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. It's just 15 minutes walk from Etsaut, on the other side of the river.
