The lodge is a very well equipped accommodation facility with fantastic views over the gorgeous rural scenery of south western Western Australia. The bedrooms are a mix of double and single beds and all of them have lovely views and very comfortable beds! The shared bathroom facilities are clean and spacious. The first of the the 2 common areas has a large and very well equipped kitchen, a large dining area that can seat up to 16 people and a very comfortable lounge area with a large television and a table tennis table! The second common room has wonderful views, lovely comfortable chairs and sofas with an amazing massage chair which was very popular with our group! Both common rooms have slow combustion fires with all firewood provided. There is a BBQ provided and an outdoor fire pit. The host Darrell was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a wonderful experience!

Being city folks, this was the most authentic farmstay experience which didn't compromise on comfort too! The host went the extra mile to place a pile of straw at our doorsteps so we could feed the sheeps next door. He gave us a marron (like a freshwater lobster) trap and we caught our first marron from one of the 3 lakes on the farm! Darrell even gave a few of us a private tour around the farm on his buggy. It's a magical experience for anyone who wants to take a break from the city and have a taste of the farm. The farm lodge was extremely clean, well equipped and even had a touch of luxury (the $8000 Osim massage chair!). It was hard to find a place that could accomodate 20 of us. If you have a big group and wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place to be.
