Our centrally located one bedroom has been newly renovated and has a comfortable queen sized bed. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and bus routes. Full kitchen. Excellent AC. 15 minutes by car to the U of A and downtown. Apartment is located in the transitional zone from the businesses on Craycroft into the single family homes of the Myers neighborhood. Foot traffic is present and the parking area is unsecured. Close to Davis-Monthan Air Force base, so there is aircraft noise.
I love the morning light in this apartment. There is a sliding glass door that opens into the back yard. On the downside--the tub and shower are old but functional and clean.
Full kitchen, fenced yard, parking in front of apartment (2 spaces), memory foam mattress on queen sized bed. Massage chair in living room! Unit has full kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster and cooking accessories (plates, silverware, etc.). There is an air mattress available for a third person/kids.
Interaction with guests
We will interact as much or as little as you want! We love Tucson and Southern Arizona. We have traveled to Europe and love using AirNB to meet locals and learn about other cultures. I am a novice birder and this part of the country is one of the best in terms of bio diversity and migration. The gem show is a highlight of the Tucson year in the spring.
Other things to note
The parking area is unsecured but close to the apartment entry. There is foot traffic from the neighborhood and the tenants of the large apartment complex across the street use the ally as a shortcut to the QT Mart on the corner. And, something I don't even notice or think to put in here until recently, since I live nearby--aircraft noise from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base which is about a mile away since the apartment (and my house) are in the take-off/landing zones.
First of all, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay! Anything we can do to make it a 5 star stay just let us know!
Help yourself to the tea and anything else we may have over there.
Community BIG trash can is behind the building in the alley.
Yard gate is locked on the inside and the key is on the key ring.
