Pachamama Retreat offers unique beachfront accommodation for up to 6 people, with incredible views of the Hazards and set on 5 spacious acres. It is designed for those looking to escape the busy life and in search of an adventure, peace, relaxation, connection with nature (Pachamama = Mother Earth) and sharing a memorable experience with loved ones. There is no TV/Wifi at Pachamama - instead, an outdoor fire pit, hammock, books, musical instruments and the incredible beach will entertain you.
Pachamama Retreat comprises of two main living areas.
The beach cabin comprising of an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with separate bathroom and toilet and outdoor entertaining area with bbq.
The cosy lounge/dining area is furnished with a comfortable queen-size sofa bed with electric fire place and furnished with artwork, musical instruments and souveniers from all around the world, including bongo drums, guitar, harmonica and Andean instruments.
The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes a gas cook top, microwave, fridge/freezer, sandwich press and kettle/toaster. The Cabin has modern shower/bathroom and separate toilet.
The converted bus provides unique sleeping quarters for up to four people, one double bed and two single bunk beds (see pictures) – a real adventure for adults and children! This area also provides an additional enclosed area ideal for children playing while adults are relaxing in the main cabin.
An outdoor viewing platform providing incredible scenery across the beach and Hazards, the perfect place for a morning cup of tea watching the sunrise or wine and cheese, whilst the sun sets.
The property has outdoor firepits to enjoy, the perfect way to warm up in winter and enjoy the outdoor experience well into the evening.
The beach is ideal for fishing, kayaking and many other sports, with nine miles of pristine, deserted beach to run or walk, with incredible views of the Hazards.
Pachamama means “Mother Earth’ in Quechua and Aymara languages, who are the Andean people in South America (Pacha = Earth, Mama = Mother). Pachamama brings protection, prosperity, generosity, fertility and symbolised a balanced life based on the four Quechua principles (Water, Earth Sun and Moon).
Whole property is accessible.
- 1. Drugs, smoking and excess of alcohol are not permitted 2. Parties are not permitted and loud music or sounds will be allowed only to 10pm 3. Respect, honesty and care are core values at Pachamama Retreat 4. House cleanliness is responsibility of the guests a. Dishes need to be cleaned after eating b. Washing needs to be hanged up outside 5. Check in is at 3pm and check out at 10am strictly 6. When you leave the property, ensure all the lights are off, doors are locked, keys are put back to the security box and door closed; and front main gate is locked. 7. Rubbish and recycling needs to be left at the bins outside 8. Kids need to be supervised all the time, specially upstairs, the beach & bush
