The apartment is about 15 minutes walk through the old town from the station, so easy to get to by public transport. Restaurants, museums, and bars are all within a few minutes walk. There are loads of shops for whatever you might need within a few steps (I bought a sweater, a phone charger, some fruit, some drinks, and got a haircut within 50 metres of the apartment). It's one of those cool Italian houses with a large entry hall and loads of corridors and walkways inside. The apartment is furthest back from the street, so there's no city noise whatsoever. The kitchen is well equipped but I didn't cook durng my stay. There are plenty of really good restaurants and Giuseppe has prepared a map with some of his favourites. Either al the restaurants are good, or I just got lucky, but I found the food in Parma to be sensational. After eating, you can drink a negroni or a spritz outside in the warm evening and feel like a real Italian. Just go to any of the bars and choose one that's populated with people who look a bit like you. The furnishings are comfortable and functional. Everything is provided. All in all, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, which really gave me the feeling of being in the 'real' Italy.

Great place to stay right in the city center, walking distance from the main attractions and main recreation areas. Giuseppe provided us with very thorough information and he proved himself very helpful and reliable. Only problem: the Wi-Fi, it works only in the living room. Aside from this, I totally recommend this place.

The apartment was in a great area, the main parts of Parma were only a short walk away, and the host did a great job of explaining to me the history of Parma, and sites of interest around the city. He was very kind and quite accommodating, if I ever return to Parma, I would definitely come back.

Vivo a Parma in Italia, vi aspetto per un bellissimo soggiorno nella città della buona cucina, della musica e dell'arte. Secondo Marcel Proust Parma era una città di color malva.
