For 24 years I have been the innkeeper and owner of this bed and breakfast. I have been active in my community and love to help guests enjoy their stay by offering suggestions for dining, activities and directions. During breakfast, my guests often ask me to tell stories about Ypsilanti, the second oldest city in Michigan. My two daughters and a sister have moved to this area and are involved in the operation....for which I am very thankful. So a stay with us is like coming to Grandma's house, complete with chocolate chip cookies! I am an avid reader so there are lots books and magazines for guests to use. I enjoy golf, swimming, exploring the area and participating in local events. I have a culinary degree from our community college and have been cooking since I was 8 years old. I have written 3 cook books with menus, recipes and tips all about breakfast. My latest cook book also has videos and can be downloaded from my website, Since I love to bake, the breakfast table has a variety of muffins, bread and coffee cakes everyday.
