Location

Greater London, England, United Kingdom

The house is a two minute walk from Pinner Village which is steeped in history. Pinner High Street is full of lovely old buildings dating back to Tudor times, and must be explored. There are plenty of characterful pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. Pinner is quiet and safe and has the feel of a village, which is unusual for a London suburb.

We live very close to a pretty park which has a cafe called Daisy's in the Park. It is located in a historic building which overlooks a small lake and has indoor and outdoor seating.

Metropolitan Line trains run frequently from Pinner to central London and the City. Trains arrive every few minutes, and take about 25 minutes to reach Baker Street, 30 minutes to reach Kings Cross and 40 minutes to reach the City (all direct trains). At Baker Street and Kings Cross you can easily connect to every other part of London.

There is a bus stop at the end of the road, with a frequent local bus service.

A library, synagogue, and churches of various denominations are located within very close distance of the accommodation.

There is a launderette and money machine at the end of the road.

I live in Pinner, a delightful village with plenty of history in the suburbs of London. I am self employed (I have an eBay shop and also work freelance for a local company which carries out research in the property industry). My two children are grown up and live away from home, most of the time. I have recently extended and renovated my house, incorporating a guest room. My hobbies include going to the cinema and art galleries, painting, photography and cooking. I enjoy travelling, but am not very good at flying, hence Europe is quite an attraction!
