There's just something about this space that makes people smile. Built in 1941, it exudes charm and comfort, making you feel welcome the moment you arrive. This home has been lovingly updated, but still connected to its roots in Olde Florida.... enjoy the relaxed vibe with all the modern conveniences added to the vintage 1940's charm. Located off Historic McGregor Boulevard line with stately Royal Palms, this enclave of older homes along the Caloosahatchee River will steal your heart.

The space
There are steps at all entry doors to the home. The home is best suited for adults, it is not "kid-proof".
The Main Bedroom has a queen bed, and the guest room has a Twin daybed. The closet is large (for a 1940's bungalow), to maximize space, it has evolved to become a shared closet. The one bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

While we do enjoy abundant sunshine most of the time, you may also enjoy a hearing the raindrops on the metal roof, it is a subtle, soothing sound.

Guest access
You will have use of the entire home. There is a lovely screened room with a dinette set for dining al fresco, a back deck with a canopy for shade where you can enjoy birds chirping and the butterfly garden. Great Room is open to the Kitchen and has sliders to the deck. There is Wi-fi, and Chromecast available.

The fireplace in the Living Room is not working and candles are for decoration (please don't use either). Thank you for not smoking in the home, smoking is OK outside, but please dispose safely.

Other things to note
Beaches, Baseball, Golf, Biking, Boating, Fishing, Historical Tours, Nature Conservatories, Theater, Art, Shopping...and a quick hop to Key West on the High speed ferry, Sarasota, Tampa or the East Coast....Tons to do during this stay, or your next.

Allen Park, Fort Myers, Florida

Delightful neighborhood with sidewalks in all directions. McGregor Blvd is a favorite for runners, walkers, bikes, strollers and dogs. It’s a pleasant walk up to The Edison and Ford Estates, and nice to meander the side streets along the Riverside. The streets are full of charm and history, enjoy the wide variety of architecture and friendly neighbors.
One block from Fort Myers Country Club offering golf on the freshly renovated course, dining, lounge and entertainment.
River District has numerous Restaurants, Bars, Shops, art, music and theater. There is always something happening downtown.
Beaches are easy to find here, depending on what you are in the mood for, you can go to Ft Myers Beach with lots of activities, dining and nightlife, Sanibel or Captiva Islands for a quaint, nature scene, south to Barefoot Beach and Naples, Marco Island. You can even go north to Venice Beach or Siesta Key. There is a Key West shuttle out of Ft Myers Beach that will get you to the Keys in record time.
Baseball is a big attraction here. We host Spring Training for the Red Sox at Jet Blue Bark. Century Link is home to the Twins for Spring Training and the Ft Myers Miracle is their minor league team.

Hi, I'm MJ. I hope that you have the chance to fall in love with this city. I am a local Realtor here and I find it easy for people to fall in love with the obvious things here, the gorgeous weather, the beaches of the Gulf and the golfing. What I felt in love with was more of the spirit and charm of the city. I have met the friendliest people here and I love the relaxed pace. I really appreciate nature and the arts and have been an avid gardener. I love the outdoors, especially if I can be relaxing. This is the perfect spot to enjoy walking, running and biking. I hope that our paths cross along the way. ~ MJ
