Welcome to Niagara Falls, Canada and welcome to our lovely home and airbnb, #homesweetplanet - we just finished renovating all our guest rooms and we welcome people of all backgrounds!
Our airbnb is centrally located in Niagara Falls - it's a 12-minute walk to Clifton Hill, a 16-minute walk to Niagara Falls Horseshoe Falls, a 17-minute walk to the Greyhound Bus Station - and even though it's so close to the action, it's quiet enough to hear the Niagara River at night!
Our home and airbnb is open to guests on the second floor, where the two secure bedrooms share the second-floor full bathroom and the powder room on the first floor. The entire second floor was just renovated and we're sure you will feel comfortable and relaxed while staying with us.
The main floor is where we live - Shawn, Sidonie and our daughter. She is little, so she does scream and cry at times, but all is usually quiet at night! If you are relaxing here during the day, you may hear us talking and playing.
We have turned our enclosed front sunroom into a cozy dining area that is open to you 24/7 during your stay. You will find a table and chairs to eat at and many of the small appliances just like home; a microwave, a mini fridge, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster oven.
We offer a simple breakfast every morning, which can be enjoyed in the mini dining room. There will be coffee, bread, pastries, fruit and whatever else we can think of that would give you a little energy before you start your day of exploring.
Our home is your home, so we want to make sure that your stay is as convenient as possible. Therefore, we have several things to help you. We have a tool drawer - you never know when you might need scissors, tape, plastic bags, etc. We have a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. We have plugs and power converters for all the countries in the world (just in case you forgot yours!). Of course, we have many other basic toiletries.
Our driveway can accommodate three cars, however the car at the end would be blocking all the other cars, so we basically can only fit one car on our driveway. However, street parking is free and there are always spots available.
Even though our home is within easy walking to distance to all the major attractions here in Niagara Falls, it is in a very quiet residential area and you will certainly be able to relax while staying here.
There are two guest bedrooms and your bedroom is yours to lock and you will be given a key. There are two shared washrooms - a full bathroom on the second floor and a powder room on the first floor.
At the front of the house in our sunroom, there is a mini dining area where you can sit down and eat. You will also be able to prepare food to a moderate extend, as we offer a mini fridge, a microwave, a toaster oven, a kettle and a coffee maker.
Our front veranda is also yours to enjoy. There are two chairs and a table outside, with a patio umbrella.
Interaction with guests
We will meet you when you first arrive at our place and try to make you as comfortable as possible. And since we live downstairs, we are available if you need assistance with anything, so please don't hesitate to ask!
Other things to note
Bonus: both of our rooms have blackout curtains, which make it very dark if you pull them closed - great for light-sensitive sleepers!
When you stay in one of our rooms, you can rest assured that your beddings are clean! We launder everything that touches your skin; including bedsheets, duvet covers and pillow cases.
- Be considerate toward other guests
- No shoes in house, THANK YOU!

I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and am now living in Niagara Falls, Canada. In between, Sidonie and I lived in Vancouver/Calgary, Canada and Taipei/Kaohsiung, Taiwan! We were quite fond of moving in the past, but it looks like we've now settled down :)
I'm a Banana - yellow on the outside, but white on the inside. I'm also interested in architecture, horticulture (particularly greenhouse growing), travel (appreciating other cultures), and technology (in particular, AI).
