The nearest village is Lowick which has a small shop & off-licence (open all hours) and two pubs. The Black Bull is recently re-opened following an extensive refurbishment and is highly recommended.

The surrounding farm land belongs to West Kyloe farm, this is busy arable and livestock farm. currently the fields around us are sown with crops and thus there will be tractors in tending the crops from time to time. If you see them, please give them (Hughie or Michael) a cheery wave.

We're self reliant, hard working, a bit obsessive, fond of chickens, and determined to do-it-right.

We don't bite unless bitten and never (rarely) play with our chainsaws in public.

During your stay

We like to leave people alone to do their own thing. Though there may be occasional 'Hello' from our son Ben (6). We will try to meet you at the church to hand you the key. That's not possible, just let us know when you are arriving and we will leave the key in the door.
