First of all, Kostas, and his mother, Sophie, are spectacular hosts. They are super accommodating, hospitable, and went above and beyond what would be expected during our stay in Samos. We had unconventional (read: inconveniently late/early) ferry arrival and departure hours during our time in Samos, and Kostas made arrangements for us to check in in the middle of the night and to check out several hours beyond our check out time to accommodate this. It was such a help to us, and we couldn't have been more grateful. Sophie also runs a travel agency and car rental company, so she can hook you up with trips around the island, or day trips to Turkey.
The apartment was small, but well appointed. We had everything we needed, and were able to very easily walk to the shops, restaurants, and beaches.
During planning of our trip, we weren't sure if Kokkari or Pythagorio would be the better choice for where to stay. I'm glad to say that Kokkari was much our preference. We took a day trip to Pythagorio, and it was a great place to visit, but we really liked the more relaxed beauty of Kokkari better.
Totally recommend staying here!
