Perfect spot on Bass Lake, just a very short walk from the lake itself. BJ was a great host and the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Boat hire on the lake is something you must do! Also the local Mexican restaurant was probably the best Mexican food I have eaten so far! 10/10. Thank you

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at B.J. and Laurel's chalet. The chalet is charming, nested in a very quiet neighbourhood, and surrounded by nature. We felt entirely at peace and would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a great spot to stay by the lake! This cabin was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. BJ and his wife Laurel we're so very accommodating, such nice people, and wonderful hosts. Their spot is a perfect jumping-off point for Yosemite. Next time we go up there we'll bring our boat, the lake is beautiful. Also we found that the choice of restaurants, little grocery store, and gas station, right in the Lake Community, we're all very convenient. We Highly Recommend !

Nice little studio to stay in for our last minute booking. Only down side was the hosts were a little difficult to get a hold of/non responsive during the stay. I needed an iron and blow dryer (both mentioned on the description) and they weren't in the studio itself. The neighbor dropped hers off as the hosts were out for the day, but had a rude tone when she stopped by to do so. Other than that the place was quaint and quiet. Good for a short stay in the area.

Response from B.J.:
It is unfortunate Marjan and Harris felt we were not reachable. They made the reservation the day before they came and did not contact again. We met them late that night when they arrived so they Knew we would gone early the next day and to let us know if they needed anything. We have a list of items that are available if asked and the hair dryer is one of these. They did not contact us until around 10 am. The iron was in the room, in a cupboard next to the bed. We had our neighbor check in with them because we received the message on our phone but we're having difficulty messaging back. We were so appreciative our neighbor was willing to bring everything over. The next day, they contacted us at checkout time to see if they could leave later than the agreed time and we told them it would be no problem. We always do our best to be as accommodating if possible, and will certainly put a hair dryer in the room for the future as this seems to be something our guests would appreciate.

What a lovely cabin on bass lake. Very peaceful spot and a scenic drive into Yosemite valley. Our hosts were so warm and accommodating even looking out for us in the dark as we were delayed to check-in.
