Hello. We restored in 2017 an old house adjoining our holiday home in which we set up two gites in the clean Provencal style so that you feel at home on vacation. The 8 x 4 pool is accessible from May until late September Outside of this period, you can enjoy the pool beaches that remain accessible to all. We also share with you our wooded garden, which we take great care of.
During your stay, if I am on site, I will be sure to advise you on sightseeing visits and my good culinary plans for the region.
The hiking trails are directly accessible from the house to discover the vineyards and olive groves that make all the charm of the Drôme landscapes. In the hot summer hours, when the cicadas fill the air with their singing, you'll enjoy the large pool.
Nyons is a very lively small town in summer (festival, theater, concerts) and its market with the scents of Provence is popular on Thursday and Sunday mornings.
La Drome Provençale can be visited in any season. In autumn, come and hike in the beautiful colorful scenery. The vineyards are a relative of a thousand colors. This is the season when the olive trees are covered in these beautiful black olives (la tanche) that make Nyons famous. Then comes truffle season from November to March with Richerenches which is the largest truffle market in Europe. To discover and enjoy!
Spring is ideal for hiking in the mountains and hills, or to discover the many small hilltop villages that make up the charm of this area.
Summer is more conducive to idleness by the pool, visits to the surrounding castles, walks in the scent markets, and discovering the beautiful lavender fields in early July.
