Summercove is a great base location to explore Lahinch as it's only a short walk from the town centre and beach. It was also easy to travel further afield to the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Ennis - there's plenty to do! We felt very at home in the accommodation itself and enjoyed our stay very much. There was also a good selection of DVDs and games there for any rainy days! Susanne was a great host and made us feel very welcome.

We had a fantastic week in lovely Summercove, Lahinch. Susanne welcomed us with home baked scones, gorgeous jam and chocolate and the house was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy, showers hot, living areas practical and spacious, good TV and DVDs for the odd rainy day. lahinch is a great surf spot and a wonderful base for exploring the Burden, the cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands, which we did by boat, car, bike and walking! And of course it's the surf capital of Ireland. The house is 5 minutes walk from everything- local yoga studio, cafes, pubs, supermarket, beach. Little Enistymom is 3km away, or a half hour walk and is hipster central with art gallery, independent bakers, cool bats and cafe as well as a hotel where they filmed a bit of Harry Potter and the half blood price. Everything is low key and relaxed. When it rains you just head indoors for food and know there will be sun later. A very relaxing holiday, Summercove was a real home from home for us. We really hope to come back!

Susanne's house was a very pleasant, freshly refurbished and decorated with taste and very well located house, less than 10' walk from the city and the wonderful beach of Lahinch. Lahinch is also a few minutes drive from the amazing Cliffs of Moher and the pretty village of Doolin where yo can enjoy listenning typical irish music bands and from where you can reach the Aran Islands. Thanks again to Susanne who welcomed us with delicious scones and who took care of us during or stay.

Susanne's house it a great choice for a stay in Co. Clare. It was so clean and equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. It is only a few minutes walk from the town centre and beach. Lahinch was a great central point to explore all that Co. Clare had to offer.

15 Summercove is a very nicely decorated and well furnished holiday home. We found our stay very comfortable and the house well equipped and spotlessly clean. Susanne was a very welcoming host and was most pleasant to deal with. She even left some lovely scones for us on arrival. I would highly recommend this property as it is only a few minutes walk from the town of Lahinch where there is some lovely bars and restaurants as well as a beautiful sandy beach and Lahinch golf course. It is also a great location from which to tour the west coast and the 'Wild Atlantic Way'. We loved it and hope to return again-thank you Susanne!

I am new to hosting but with my children in homes of their own, I am looking forward to caring for guests instead. I really enjoy meeting people so you will be warmly welcomed. I live with my husband just 10 minutes drive from Lahinch in lovely Liscannor. We moved here over 2 years ago from Co. Kildare, and very quickly fell in love with the place.
My hobbies are hiking, baking and crafts.
