DIERDRE IS AWESOME. She was quick responding and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that I have already booked it again. It is perfect. This place is clean and perfect for in-between the river fun. We had wonderful service from a local kyack renter who brought our kyacks to us. I highly recommend staying a weekend here...you will see the convienence to the river and shopping for those last minute items is right around the corner.

Deirdre's place is charming, clean and comfortable and close to kayak rentals on the river as well as other Weeki Wachee attractions. The access to the private park is an amazing bonus as you have river access for swimming, hanging by the water, etc. Deirdre is a great host and I would highly recommend staying here for a fun get away.

The house is exactly what we were looking for - excellent location for so many activities on the Nature Coast, and for me, only 10 minutes away from my family! Deirdre was very accommodating, she offered to pick us up at Roger's Park after our canoeing trip down the Weeki Wachee river. We were very happy with our stay there!

Deirdre' place was just perfect! The location was wonderfully close to Weeki Wachi. Her place also had the added benefit of having a private park on the river which was great for hanging out and swimming in the springs. The value was unbelievable! We will most definitely be coming back to paddle the springs again.

The home is very cute and clean, it is better than the pictures. Very close to the Weeki Wachee . The Weeki Wachee was very pretty. We saw manatees, turtles and fish on our kayak trip. Nearby Pine Island is the only ocean access. It is a nice area with picnic tables, playground and the beach. However this is not a beach with waves. It is a very calm bay like beach. If you are looking for more of a wavy , touristy Beach area this is not it.

Married to the most wonderful man, we love sailing, outdoors and playing our guitars. We own and run The Olive Grove in Brooksville, FL where we have workshops, over 200 olive trees on 4 acres with an Aframe and there is also a farm store in a separate building. My husband and I have traveled to France, Italy, Germany, every state on the East Coast and Puerto Rico. We spend a lot of time sailing, canoeing or planning and having events and concerts on our grove.
We are vegetarians, non smokers and live a healthy lifestyle.
