Our little experience in this RV was filled with adventure. We arrived on a very cold weekend to a very cold RV. We turned on the heat and headed for a coffee shop to stay warm while it warmed up. Meanwhile we got a call back from Jacky. We returned to the RV to discover that the propane tank that was attached was empty and so proceeded to switch them. This is likely easy for those with RV experience, a bit more challenging for those without. Jacky made sure we had the tank knobs all turned the proper direction. Thereafter the unit heated up very quickly and we did not have a cold place to stay again. Now, that said--in the winter time, note that the unit has a wide variation in temperature--even when set at a spot on the thermostat...Again, if you are familiar with RV living, this may come as no surprise. Many details and utensils need to be addressed, which we shared with Jacky. I anticipate he will improve the experience for the next guests. The beds are quite short, if you are taller than 5'8", and like to curl up to sleep--no worries...the bunk beds are suitable for children... As mentioned by other guests, the railroad tracks are VERY close to this RV spot and several trains per night came by. They did not blow a whistle, but never-the-less, they are very loud going by. Please note(and this may change, as we already shared all this info with Jacky): We needed to purchase our own TP, there are no hand towels--for either the bathroom or kitchen. There was one partial roll of paper towels and a used sponge in the kitchen, no microwave safe bowls or oven safe dishes. There was one seam in the main bedroom wall that needs repair to help retain heat in the unit (probably of no issue in the summer). We enjoyed having a kitchen that we could fix several meals in, that was super handy...and with a baking pan, it would have even been better! All in all, we enjoyed our stay in the stunning Canadian Rockies. PS, if you are looking for a fabulous drive, there is a road that leaves behind Canmore (742) that heads up towards Kananaskis Country. What a delightful drive with stunning views in all directions...we took the loop, stopping frequently for pictures and awe-inspiring vistas.

The trailer was not stocked with hand soap so be sure to bring some. It's real bare bones for other items, plastic plates for example. The radio didn't work and it would have been nice if there were some games or even a deck of cards. Lastly, the pipes froze on our first morning so we didnt have water until the mid afternoon. The heat was not on when we entered the trailer so it took about 4-5 hours to warm it up. Something to consider if you are staying in the off season and it's cold out.

The place is as pictured. We were four adults so it was a bit tight but all part of the adventure. Very conveniently located in terms of nearby hiking and amenities.
