Perhaps one of Scotland's best kept secrets is Seil Island. Idyllic land and seascapes, abundant wildlife and great walking country too, the island is also the perfect location from which to see the west coast and its islands. Alternatively relax and take in the real peace and quiet amid beautiful surroundings. An easy 14 miles away is Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland, with plenty of restaurants and shops. There is a ferry terminal by Oban harbour for easy access to other islands.
