Place was good, close to public transport and a 10 min walk to restraunts. Room was slighly small. Did not matter much as I was outside most of the time. Host was helpful.

Great development that was walkable to restaurants and bars. The place needs a good cleaning. Pervasive odor of rotting food or litter box (though i didn't hear or see a cat) The towels have a bad odor and the bathroom was dirty. The host was nice but slow to reslobd to emails.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice place to stay in Chicago for a last minute trip. Andrew's place is nestled in a very nice neighborhood and the place itself is a newly renovated pad for your stay. Directions to get there are pretty easy and uber/lyft vehicles are always within 5 mins or less. Getting to downtown takes less than 20 mins without traffic. I wouldn't say restaurants or places to shop are within walking distance, so you'll need some sort of vehicle or ride share to get around. Parking is around, but if you're coming during peak hours, I would suggest asking about Andrew's garage spot (for an extra $25) if he is willing for that weekend. The entrance to the place is open to the street, so it's very easy to get in and get settled. The place is pretty spacious with a modern traveler vibe to it. I hope Andrew posts more pictures of his place because the one posted does zero justice to what you can expect (which is a lot nicer than you would think). The room itself has the basics: comfy, large bed, a night stand, nice ventilation for those hot summer days. The bathroom is also clean and has the basics you'll need. My only note is that perhaps through the ventilation, you can hear muffled sounds from neighboring units. Not all the time, but sometimes you'll hear it during the day if you're around. Andrew is a very accommodating host and is willing to help you out if you have anything you need. Just be sure to let him know ahead of time. Overall, I'd recommend staying here if you're visiting Chicago. I would love to come back if I'm in town again. Thanks!

Andrew is very friendly and welcoming. His place was very nice and clean. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible. The location is great for uber rides to the city as they were very affordable. The only thing I would critique him on is how wui key he is to respond to msgs.
