Rowan Barn was just right - far enough away from the traffic on the A35 but close enough to walk to the beach (15 mins). We appreciated the bottle of wine and carton of milk!

Lovely cottage, good location. outdoor area overlooking the hills. The photos don't do it justice. Beaches we visited - Chideock, Seatown, West Bay, Charmouth, Lyme Regis all within 15 mins drive. Bournemouth, sandbanks and poole worth a visit. Durdle door is a must to visit, amazing beach and views. Weymouth too commercialised (Blackpool of the south!) The local George Pub did amazing wood fired pizzas on a Thursday night . We'll definitely visit Dorset again. Debra very helpful.

The house is one of a small group of barn conversions on a working farm, with lovely views across the hills and fields. It's private without being isolated, and walking distance to the village or the beach. The host has prepared a helpful book of local information, and there are guidebooks as well. Loads of parking on site, dog friendly and a comfortable well appointed house. The week went by too quickly.

We had a lovely break away. Very easy to walk to the beach and local pubs. Cottage much bigger than the photos suggest. Will recommend to family and friends.
