Fabulous welcome Stuart and Kerrie could not do enough for us and even gave us a lift to the greywalls hotel for our evening reception. Excellent stay!

We have had a wonderful stay here. The welcome from Stuart & Kerry couldn't have been nicer. In fact we felt very welcome from arrival to departure. Everything was clean, comfortable and perfect. Nice sized en suite with good shower. Empty wardrobe for anything requiring hanging, great bedding. Lovely breakfast provided with nice touches - e.g. a jug of warm milk to go with our welcome 'morning after' coffees. We really felt that everything had been thought out very well. From the kettle and biscuits in the bedroom to the ideal little toiletries provided. (The cups of tea made for us on arrival were also very much appreciated.) We could have the bedroom as cool or warm as we wanted - we're not keen on sleeping in a warm room, so we chose not to use the heating, and it was lovely to have the flexibility and variety of windows to regulate the fresh air. We slept very well and all in all, felt nicely looked after whilst having plenty privacy. Stuart & Kerry are happy to help in any way. They seem like very good, honest, friendly people. It has been a pleasure to meet them and to stay at their place and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

An excellent 2 night stay and Stuart and Kerry were great hosts. Breakfast was very good - almost like staying at home!! A nice touch was when Stuart drove us into Gullane on the first evening to meet up with golfing friends. He works at Gullane Golf Club so is a bit of a golf fanatic - you should see the golf balls he has accumulated from courses he has played. This airbnb will suit golfers.

Stuart's place is a lovely converted barn in a small complex in a rural and secluded setting just over a mile from the picturesque and golf-crazy village of Gullane. All amenities are of the highest order and the en-suite room is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. It is also at one end of the property so feels quite private, although Stuart and Kerry are always on hand for assistance or advice. We were really made to feel like we were guests and would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Lovely rural setting with beautiful surrounding views. Large airy bedroom with big very comfy double bed and spacious bathroom. Really peaceful and quiet so ended up sleeping a little longer than expected! Will definitely be staying again if I'm back up in the area.

Hi, I'm Stuart. Kerry and I moved to Gullane last year and love the combination of living in the peace of the countryside but only being a short drive away from Edinburgh. I am a very keen golfer, and work in Gullane golf club - East Lothian, and Gullane in particular is a golfer's paradise! Kerry on the other hand is more a fan of non-golf pursuits and prefers the beach to the golf course. Luckily this beautiful area has plenty of both!!
