This is a really cute, vintage camper parked in a private driveway just a bit off the bike path in a valley-ish area surrounded by tall trees. The only thing that could really make it better would be a fire pit -- just like camping. Close to town and everything you could want. Bike trails everywhere and nice shops!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. This little RV is just perfect and in incredible condition! Joey and his wife went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They brought us a heater and a newspaper and did other kind gestures which made the stay perfect. We hope to be back and encourage you to try staying here too!

The location was great, secluded in the woods but about 15 minutes to TC and close to the Leelenau Peninsula and surrounding area. The camper was super cute, clean and well maintained. It was stocked with toiletries, towels, guidebooks, water and a bottle of sparkling wine! Joey was incredibly helpful and communicative before and during the rental. It was such a fun and unique Airbnb. I would highly recommend it!

Staying in the Wanderer during our TC travels was a fantastic experience! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the kitsch aspects of staying in a Winnebago and loved the proximity to downtown TC and nearby wineries. We even found a cute little trail to run on in the morning! Joey and his wife are superb hosts, allowing us to check in later in the evening and providing us with a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival! While the AC wasn't needed much during our stay, it works great considering the age of the vehicle and Joey provided a cozy throw blanket to get us through the cooler evenings. Showering in the tiny bathroom was, as expected, as interesting experience but we both managed just fine. Provided toiletries definitely came in handy too. Word of advice: turn on the AC and/or open the "skylight" in the bathroom before a warm shower to facilitate in quickly airing out/cooling down the vehicle post-shower! Thanks for hosting, Joey.

Fun stay in the Winnebago! Good location, nice hosts, and cozy spot. If you're looking for a unique way to stay in Traverse City, somewhere between camping and a hotel, this is your place.

Loved it. Perfect stay if you have a tight budget or if you just want to get cozy with your companion. I'm 6' 4" and the only place I felt cramped was the bathroom. Fridge is a little small, but it was perfect for some sandwich supplies and leftovers. Ideal for two, but three could fit pretty comfortably. Joey was very quick to answer questions, and, even though the RV was in their driveway, it felt very private. Just don't forget to take the toilet paper out of the bathroom while you shower...

Staying in the Winnebago was great! It had everything we could need, Even some extras in case we forgot anything. While it is a bit farther out, it was still so close to everything we wanted to see and do in Traverse city. Joey was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends!
