Here’s my answer to it:
1.Concerning the elevator malfunction that issue was related to an electrical problem that was completely out of our control. Still we were and are sorry for that inconvenience. I also told Paul, your friend, to contact me either through (Hidden by Airbnb) or regular SMS if you need me as Airbnb wasn't the best way. Paul even told me he was familiar with the situation as he had to use the stairs at home. I also offered him to carry his luggage updtairs.
2.In terms of communication I’ve always answered your questions from the day after you have booked the apartment until Paul arrived and also answered his only question about letting you keep your luggage
3.Regarding the me being late you are being totally unfair as you know your boyfriend had to change flights and you just let me know that late on the night of the 4th when I was already sleeping resulting that I only saw the change on the 5th, the very same day of his arrival. Here it is your message: ” Hi Paulo, thanks for your message. My friend changed his flight and will now arrive at 4:45pm with the flight FR1142. He also messaged you on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)? Maybe you can get directly in contact with him since I'll only arrive around midnight tomorrow Thanks a lot Lydia ”. He was supposed to arrive earlier… “Hi Marie, we're looking so much forward to stay in your apartment. Would it somehow be possible that Paul already checks in around 10/11am as his plane lands at 9am in Lisbon. Thanks so much Lydia “. For this reason I was there around 10:00am and had to return later. Besides that Paul’s afternoon flight arrived almost half an hour earlier.
4.Maybe I should remind you that Airbnb lodging is not a hotel service with a 24 hour service availability. Considering that and also that I had scheduled his arrival for a different time you should be more considerate and tolerant and really thank me for being there for your friend as I was on time he wasn’t!
5.Strangely enough Paul seemed to be very understanding about both the lift issue and the check-in. Actually he was extremely nice indeed.
6.I’m really sorry that you have injured your foot. Paul didn’t tell me.
