It is a completely eclectic apartment, in the style of those inhabited by students living in the City of Guanajuato, it does not follow any definite style, but it has all the facilities to meet your needs. Completely comfortable and welcoming, its spaces are well defined and its location is unbeatable, as it is in the center of the city, only 10 minutes walk from the Garden Union-centric point. Located in an alley, half a block up from the access to it.
It is a well ventilated space, with attractive natural lighting and spectacular panoramic day and night views of the center and the most emblematic buildings of the city.
It also has an outdoor terrace, which allows you to enjoy the quietude of the estate, as well as the views of the city alone or accompanied.
Inside it has a first bedroom with a matrimonial bedroom, a second bedroom a sofa bed also double and in the common area a second sofa bed (matrimonial also). Its kitchen is fully equipped, has refrigerator, grill, microwave oven, coffee maker, sandwich maker, etc.
As for the services has a bathroom with hot water 24 hours a day, Wi-Fi, TV and DVD and has a small washing machine, totally at your disposal.
This lodging is located in a typical alley of Guanajuato so there is no garage, however, there are different parking lots where your vehicle can be kept safe (the cost is borne by the user). The first is half a block away in the Ambassadors' garden and it is open air, the second closest to a block, in Plaza San Pedro (better known as VIPS) and this is a multi-storey roofed parking lot. There are some others nearby such as Hinojo and Alonso Street, but they are generally saturated. (The cost per hour in the parking lots is around $ 15.00 MXP (fifteen pesos 00/100 MN).
In the Mercado Embajadoras and the streets around the alley you will find everything you need: meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, bakeries, typical Guanajuato food, as well as an endless variety of other stores (hardware stores, clothing stores, Aesthetics, accessories, souvenirs and handicrafts etc.). The market offers different types of good quality Mexican food at very affordable prices, and as there is a diversity of options nobody will be left without eating. In addition, along the street that leads to the alley there are various restaurants and cafes where you can go to try the delights of the Guanajuato food.
And at the entrance of the alley there are several grocery stores where you can find all kinds of drinks and basic foods that you could need during your stay.
The house shares the main entrance with 2 more families, reason why they are asked to respect the entrances of the same and to close the doors of access; However, the apartment has its private entrance where only you and yours can access.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment and its services, as well as to the terrace of the apartment, which can be used at any time of the day, or at night if the noise is moderate, and is exclusively for guests from the Department.
This terrace is like a private lookout. It has an impressive view of the center of Guanajuato, the monument to the Pípila and its emblematic alleys and hills.
Interaction with guests
We are people who have traveled, open and respectful of all, we like to be good hosts, and we are in love with Guanajuato, so we can make you some recommendation if you ask us.
The relationship with the neighbors is very cordial and kind, and in case of an emergency you can count on their support, as long as their space and noise schedules are respected.
Other things to note
The city of Guanajuato is built in a glen, at the bottom of which a river runs, is currently cased and became the "Underground Street", therefore the construction of houses and public buildings was done on the slopes of the Hills nearby.
This allows most of the buildings to have some partial or total panoramic views of the city and important buildings or constructions. In this respect I comment that the apartment has this panoramic view, which can be seen sitting comfortably in the room, from both bedrooms or from the terrace, and is excellent day and night because the lighting of the city is artistic.
As a curious fact, from the room and through the window of one of the bedrooms that frames the view, there is a beautiful postcard that includes the Basilica, the Temple of the Company and the University of Guanajuato, three of the most iconic buildings of the city.
- No excessive noise after 10:30 pm
Bienvenidos. . .!! :)
