Take a break from the traditional, just 5 miles from I-90 and 15 minutes to the heart of Missoula or to the Missoula International Airport, our hand-hued cabin lies at the border of a wild corridor.
We are ideally located for skiing at Snowbowl just 7.2 miles away, hiking, biking, attending events at the University of Montana, or music and film festivals in town. We think its perfect for honeymoons, romantic evenings, peaceful solitude or family time with no distractions.

The space

The perfect hideout for long weekends, a hot cup of coffee and your favorite person! We offer you our newly-decorated and furnished warm and comfortable home complete with quality linens and towels, a high definition smart TV with Netflicks, and Hughes Net Wi-Fi.
The cozy living room with cathedral ceilings and fireplace will draw you in, while the large windows and skylight over your bed bring the outside in!
Make yourself a gourmet meal in the large well-equipped kitchen and gas barbecue grill outside (Spring till Fall). The cabinets are stocked with spices and oils and just about everything I need to cook a meal. Gourmet coffee and tea is provided for that precious quiet morning!
One full bath with a spacious shower downstairs and a half bath upstairs. A queen hide-abed in the cozy living room and the queen bed upstairs in the loft are both wonderfully comfortable and truly delightful places to fall asleep and wake up in!
We have a new Intex Comfort elevated 22" queen bed that can be set up in the loft area for families like ours! This air bed is amazingly comfortable!

Children who are 6 and older would be perfectly safe in our cabin. Airbnb does not have the option of setting age limits. The loft railing and stairs are my concerns for younger or less mature children.

Guest access

The entire home, large yard and covered parking spaces and great outdoors are yours to enjoy! There is covered parking for 4 cars.

Interaction with guests

My husband and I love to travel and meet new people. If we are out of town a family member or friend will be available for any concerns or questions you might have. We will also provide a cell phone number.

Other things to note

This end of the road is a bit of a secret even to Missoulians, and strangers don't tend to pass through due to the Private Drive sign. Therefore, it's a great place to relax and unwind, and just enjoy the peace.
We are a town of breweries and restaurants, most of which are within 7 miles. It’s 15 minutes to Costco, and other grocery stores, REI, TJ Max and Target. There are maps and brochures available in the cabin for you to take and use.
Our location makes it easy to take day trips to Hamilton, Butte, Philipsburg or Flathead Lake. Multiple hiking, biking, and skiing trails are in close proximity; such as the Ravine, Grant creek trails, and of course the Snow bowl Summer/Ski Resort trails. For those coming to cheer on the Griz or visit the University of Montana, we are 10 miles from campus. If you like to golf, Canyon River Golf Course (voted one the best new courses in the US by Golf Digest, 2007) is only 13 miles away. And if you care to try your hand at fishing, the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers await you!

NO small children who are crawling or just learning to walk and navigate stairs will be allowed to stay or visit the cabin for safety reasons only. We have no gates on the stairs and the railing is not adapted as childproof. The gas fireplace has no child barriers either.
Children are permitted with my approval from ages 4 up due to these issues. We welcome infants and little ones who are not yet crawling, and I can provide a pack and play, blankets and sheets, and a high chair if needed.

No smoking in the house--or on the property-- or in the valley!

Please remove outside shoes when you enter the house.

This was a really nice place to stay. It was quiet, cozy, and very comfortable. We did a lot of exploring in the area and I wish I could have spent a bit more time sipping coffee and relaxing at the cabin.

Robin’s cabin is the perfect getaway without being too far from town. You can drive to downtown in about 15 minutes but also enjoy nature and the privacy of the woodsy, cozy cabin. Robin was a thoughtful, outstanding host providing us with little homey touches like bagels, homemade jam, and candies!

Robin's place is fantastic! It is clean, very comfortable (loved that bed!) and location puts you away from it all, yet easy access to all conveniences. The Mama Bear and her cub was a terrific sight our first night and the next night we had deer right outside our windows. Robin is a very gracious host and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is exceptional. I highly recommend staying at this cabin.

Very secluded cabin, comfortable and cozy. Well stocked with a very nice hostess. Clean and up to date. Loved the gas fireplace and the skylight to the stars.

We LOVED Robin's cabin! It was close enough to town to be convenient and far enough away from town to be a nice little retreat in the woods. The cabin was clean and lovely with a well stocked kitchen, a comfortable bed and all of the comforts of home . We saw 3 bear, countless deer and wild turkies, which made our Montana weekend unforgettable. Robin was the perfect host and thought of any little necessities we may possibly need and added special touches like fresh flowers and homemade jam, bagels and coffee waiting for us. I highly recommend this cabin and will try to book again when we come back to town.
