Thank you for all good things you have written!
I just would like to explain a bit the rest of your evaluation.
It is true, that you need to use the metro, if you want to be in the center in 10 minutes, but you do not need to. You could walk there through the Vyšehrad park and by the riverside (which are considered as one of the most beautiful parts of Prague), you could of use the map I have given you or you could of follow the instructions I told you when you arrived.
The neighbourhood is not historical center, but it is quiet and safe part of Prague. It is the center, so you cannot expect new buildings there :-) You could see the photo of the house on my profile.
And about the mess you are describing - I have checked the apartment right before you came. I am almost sure, that the cleaning lady did not miss any spot on the floor and I am sure, that the dishes were clean since I oversee the apartment every time someone leaves and every time before new guest. If there was something wrong, I am surprised, that you did not tell me, when I asked you.
