Ch. La Corne is an old stone farmhouse from the 1700's set in its own vineyard on a hill top, surrounded by the rolling French countryside. The guest suite is attached to the Chateau (main house & winery) with its own entrance. We are 2 min to the boulangerie & 10 to Langon with shopping & the TGV station. Its the perfect combination of being in the country with city amenities close by. Wake up to an oasis of tranquility with beautiful views, surrounded by gourmet and cultural opportunities.

The space
The guest suite (apartment) is the original farmhouse from the time of Napoleon. It is spacious and bright with beautiful views, a charming kitchen, a large living room with a fold out sofa and a separate bedroom with a king size bed. Decorated in French country antiques and charm it also is up to date with modern amenities and a newly remodeled bathroom with a full-sized shower.

Guest access
Your private space is the entire old farmhouse, now called the apartment. It's almost as big as the main house! Plus you can enjoy outdoor dining on the front patio, and walk the gardens, woods and vineyards. The house and apartment is in the middle of our property - almost 7 acres of vines, fruit trees, woods and gardens.

Other things to note
We are located on the border of the AOC Graves, Entre-deaux-Mers and St. Macaire wine appellations. A perfect base to explore the surrounding famed wine regions of Bordeaux like St. Emilon and Sauternes.
Or some lovely castles in the area like Chateau de Roquetaillade or Chateau de Cazeneuve. And don't forget, the famous painter, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's Summer home, Chateau Malromé, is right next door!

Neighbourhood highlights

La Corne means 'horn of plenty' and the property was once self-sufficient with many fruit and nut trees, vines and all kinds of animals. It still is a garden of Eden, except there are no farm animals today. (Just a cute little dog named Margaux.)
Great for nature lovers, as well as gourmands and culture seekers.
We share a boundary with Château Malromé, (Toulouse-Lautrec) and Château Malagar is on the next hill top a few km’s away. Château d'Yquem is visible in the distance.

Business
My name is Diana and my husband's name is Steve. I am originally from Tucson, Arizona and Steve is from Buckinghamshire, England. We were both working in the wine business and living in Napa, until 2017, when we got married and moved to France! After 25+ years representing well-known wineries (Veuve Clicquot, Robert Mondavi, Chalone, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Pahlmeyer, Gundlach Bundschu, Cain, Obsidian Ridge, Bergstrom and Adelsheim), we now we have our own little place. Just over four acres of 73 year old vines and a 130 year old wine cellar, on a hilltop with extraordinary views, where we make small amounts of AOC Bordeaux red and white, handpicked by us, and our friends and neighbors and lovingly made by Steve. Come say hello and have a taste!
