The space
Built at the top of a hill and being at the center of Cyclades complex while enjoying direct views to Mykonos (18 miles across/45 minute ferry-ride) and many more Cycladic islands, our boutique resort was developed under the premise that extreme caution to detail must be given in order to create an establishment that is in harmony with its beautiful and exotic surrounding nature as well as the unique neoclassical architecture that can only be found in this small corner of the world. The apartment features 50 m2 (540 sq. feet) of air conditioned class A Cycladic style decoration and finishes along with a spacious veranda enjoying the panoramic views. Our proudest addition is the chapel of St. Nicholas located within the premises that adds to the natural beauty and bonds with the Cycladic style while providing a family oriented ambience, which is in line with the foundation of our Greek culture and lifestyle. If you are looking for a central but quiet and peaceful resort with one of the most famous islands in the world, Mykonos, only a short ferry-ride away, then you are at the right place!

The most recognized feature of Hermoupolis are the two hills on top of which sit two of the most fabled churches of the island, the catholic St. George and the orthodox Anastasi. Aphrodite and George Synanidis family are the owners of the property. We are a very positive, energetic and strongly coherent family of five. Aphrodite was professional in tourist business for over 20 years. She received her bachelor degree from the University of Rhodes majoring in Tourism and owned and operated a class A Hotel Apartment complex in Voula – Athens. George Synanidis is Mechanical Engineer (National Technical Engineer of Athens) and a businessman involved in the marble industry for over 25 years. We have three sons for whom we are very proud of (typical parents I guess…). Our older son is Perry, 38 years old, who graduated from Panteion University in Athens majoring in finance, before receiving his Master in Science in Real Estate from University of Florida. He currently lives and works in Miami, Florida. Our second son Nick, 35 years old, has received his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He is currently working as a commercial pilot at Aegean Airlines. Our third son is Jason, currently 30, who graduated as a Car Engineer from the Athenian Higher School Akmi , now working at a construction company. All members of our family speak fluent English and would be more than happy to invite you to our island and our resort and create together some lifetime memories.
