My stay at Laura's was absolutely wonderful in every way. She is a lovely, kind, wise, gentle person who warmly welcomed me and made me feel completely at home. Her home is immaculate and beautifully decorated and has the feel of a peaceful sanctuary. The same goes for her deck and the relaxing hot tub that was always ready for business! I really can't recommend Laura's place enough or thank her adequately for her exceptional hospitality. My week there felt like a blessing and a gift.

Beautiful place. However, you should be aware that you'll need to bring shampoo/soap. If you are allergic, cats are present and allowed into all the rooms. Also, you'll need to provide your own breakfast, despite what it reads on the website. And there is no "private living room.

Thank you for your interest in our Shasta retreat house. I've visited Mt Shasta for over 15 years, and consider it my "spirit" home. I spent much of my time camping the local camp grounds, hiking the many amazing trails, swimming in the local lake and rivers, and attending dance, yoga, sound healing, and the many spiritually oriented events Shasta offers. I've also summited the mountain twice, it's truly an amazing experience to be had! Now that I'm a resident of Shasta, I'd love to help orient you to the many activities, events, and sights Shasta has to offer. I can also recommend great massage therapists, acupuncturists, astrology readers, and more. A little about me: friends describe me as adventurous, caring & optimistic. I value kindness, living my full potential, the present moment, and live a spiritually focused life. I'm into yoga, Pilates, dancing, bike riding, and practice Qi-Gong daily. I have a master's degree in Integral Psychology (Ken Wilber), managed a holistic healthcare center years ago, have traveled extensively world-wide, am wellness conscious, and have studied Feng shui extensively. I'm also a foodie...mostly organic. I've had a life-long dream of owning a bed & breakfast, and Airbnb has offered me a wonderful opportunity of fulfilling this dream. Looking forward to meeting you!
