The space
Our family run hotel is a nature lover’s paradise. Situated within the Portobelo national park and less than 500 metres from the sea, it is the perfect location to explore the coral reefs, mangroves and jungles that are part of this amazing protected reserve.

Our cabanas are clean and comfortable and are the perfect base for you to explore the surrounding areas. Catch a water taxi to Isla Grande directly from Puerto Lindo which is less than 5 minutes walk away. The historical towns of Nombre del Dios and Portobelo are both about 20 minutes away. You can also explore our local beautiful nature walks, horse ride, dive, kayak, surf or snorkel.

Puerto Lindo, Colon, Panama

Musts for Puerto Lindo include eating the locally caught seafood at one of the nearby restaurants, bird watching on our local nature walks, spending the day on the tropical white beaches of Isla Grande, visiting the monkeys on Isla Linton, kayaking through the mangroves exploring the historical sites of Nombre del Dios and Portobelo and swinging in one of our hammocks watching the hummingbirds and monkeys play. You can also dive, zip line or a 3 hours horse ride tour , in the hills , river and beaches .

Puerto Lindo is not yet on the tourist trail so a there is still the authentic Caribbean feel to this beautiful village. It really is the perfect place to experience a different pace of life.

During your stay

A large tiled and covered terrace open on 2 sides and overlooking palm trees and the Rio Pina, which winds its way from the hostel to the ocean is furnished with large hand-hewn picnic tables allowing guests to mingle over meals and social times.

We live in a separate building on the grounds so there is always someone on hand to help with your questions or help you plan your day.

We also have a wealth of information all around our property to help you do your own planning.
