Thanks Sonia for letting us stay in your home! The apartment is an agreeable 10 minute walk from grove street PATH station which was perfectly located for us (flights to/from Newark airport, game at the metlife stadium, daytrips into nyc). We didn't spend much time in the apartment, but it offered everything we needed and more: small kitchen, tv, even basic groceries like coffee and water. Sonia tried to accomodate our check-in needs as much as possible and even took her time to give us a load of information on what to see and where to go. Thanks so much!

Sonia's place gave a typical homely feeling. The house smelt good and the furniture was decent. Sonia was kind enough to show my brother all the spots for good food and made us feel like home.

Felt very welcomed and enjoyed the stay! Sonia had great tips and recommendations, and was very accommodating. The location was great, walk is not too far from PATH train for NYC, and also all the restaurants less than 10 min walking distance were great. Great spot, would love to come back!

Wonderful apartment, great host, awesome location close to Grove St. Path station (easy & quick 24 hour access to Manhattan). Sonia is very helpful, quick to reply to any questions, and leaves a great little coffee/tea bar in the apartment which is perfect in the AM! It also has a little bonus bedroom/office with 2 small couches in it that is perfect for younger kids to sleep in making it an even better value for families with children.

Sonia's place is well-equipped and comfortable for 1-2 people. It's always nice to find some cooking essentials, like oil and salt and pepper, but Sonia went far beyond that in providing some food. The location is conveniently walkable to the PATH train and the Jersey City Historic Downtown. The Antique Bakery nearby has great sandwiches on baked-there loaves; I recommend the meatball sub and the chicken parm sub. Sonia left us lots of written tips on sightseeing, shopping, and transportation. She also warmly welcomed us in person to make sure we could find everything in the apartment. By the way, don't be put off by the dismal common areas of the building; the apartment itself is not fancy but quite pleasant. Also, be aware that you will be carrying luggage up two flights of narrow stairs. I would gladly stay there again!
