The property comprises two separate houses. The main house can be rented separately and exclusively for couples or a family of 4/5 (for 1000 euros per week) or both houses can be rented for up to 10 people (from 1300 to 1900 depending on number of suites needed). The property is in a medieval hilltop village but is entirely private and not overlooked. The two houses face one another across an enclosed graveled courtyard and have fantastic views as far as 100 km.
We are very flexible: for Couples or a Family of 4, you can just rent Romeo (1 double, 1 twin) at 1,000 Euros per week. Or for more people you can add 1, 2 or 3 suites in Juliet at 300 euros per suite per week.
The entire property was renovated to a high standard recently and uses the original stone, wood, tile and iron materials. It is furnished and decorated with art works and antiques.
Use of three terraces so you can have shade or sun as you like. There is a large table under the shaded pergola that can seat up to 10, so eating outside is easy
Interaction with guests
We can be contacted at any time. Antonella in the village looks after the property for us and is available as needed.
Other things to note
The local wines are extremely good - and very good value too. For example you can buy a bottle of excellent Gavi or a local Barbera for about 4 euros, The food in the markets is exceptionally fresh and very cheap. There are many bars and restaurants around for eating out. The historic spa town of Acqui Terme with all you need is just 12 minutes drive.

My wife and I are both writers and painters, born in England but now living in France as well as England. We love this area of central France, very rural and quiet; loads of chateaux with fantastic gardens; every village has an 11th or 12th century church. The huge oak forest of Troncais is 6 km away. Great for cyclists, painters, lovers of French food and wine. You can't beat it!
