Apartment is great for folks looking for a clean spot to crash. The apartment is spacious, clean and bright. It's minimal though- just the necessities. There is wifi, although the cable didn't work when we were there and there wasn't clear instructions on cable or wifi connections. It's in a good spot to walk/ride share to the beach and bars but that makes it pretty noisy at night, light sleepers heads up!

A great location, directly next to the beach! We had a problem with the shower, but the host fixed it immediately - thank's a lot!

Nightmare airbnb, do NOT stay here. There is no host, you have to text a phantom phone number to check in (very late at 4pm) and even then, we got the wrong gate code and had to be let in by a stranger. The "stranger" appeared to be the host of the airbnb but he was running the four unit complex from what I could tell. The apartment is vacant and barely furnished, no one lives there. Once you figure out the lock box on the unit (good luck, it is barely functional and about 30 years old), he then (I still don't know who this guy is, owner? host? neighbor?) tells you he has a parking spot for $10 cash and hands you a clicker. No thanks. Glad I passed on that because the garage is about as big as a mini-Cooper so if you drive a normal sized car, you're out of luck and out of $10 bucks. They meter your hot water, so we all got lukewarm showers because the owner/host is too cheap to pay for the heating bill to provide a hot shower. The fridge is warm, we woke up to ALL warm food (eggs, milk, etc.) in the fridge. I hope you're not inviting guests to hang out or eat dinner either because there is LITERALLY four of each thing. Four plates, four mugs, everything else in the kitchen cupboards is empty (like I said, it's a vacant apartment.) There was one bath towel and no bedding for the pull out bed. We had to text this phantom phone number who said "should be there somewhere"...ok, so after a hunt I found a tucked away dresser in a side closet that had a drawer of towels in it, and bedding. I guess I got lucky during my hunt. Also annoying but small issue - no toilet paper roll holder, so the toilet roll sits near the small ledge and constantly falls all over the bathroom...if you're in there with kids or more than one person, it gets annoying real fast. In most Airbnb there are informational binders or even a note explaining the basics, like the Hi Speed Wifi that was advertised. No binder or obvious password anywhere, so yet again I text the phantom and he texts back that it's on the router, all billion characters of the original wifi password. Sigh. TV is like the kind in cheap motels where you have the free ads and you have to click through a bunch of screens to find normal tv channels. It was all pay pre view, they don't subscribe to cable or any kind of network, so you're getting Sesame street and that's about it (seriously.) It's HOT AS HECK in this apartment, as it is blocked in from the alley and it's an interior unit with no view (except of the 7-11, which I will mention next, it gets a whole devoted paragraph.) No A/C but there is a swamp cooler...

This apartment was very central, close to Long Beach boardwalk and shopping, and a very cute place to stay, the photos don't really do it justice! The listing doesn't mention it but garage parking is available for an additional fee.
