Enjoy all that Uptown New Orleans has to offer in the comfort of your own guest house! The guest house is steps away from restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, music venues, Mardi Gras parades, and grocery and convenience stores. We live in the safe Uptown neighborhood, 3 blocks from the active Magazine Street and 10 blocks from the picturesque St. Charles Avenue. If you're hoping to live like a local, this is the perfect place for you!

The space
The guest house is located in our backyard, with your own private entrance and covered porch. You will enter through our front gate, walk down a short well-lit alley down the side of our house in our fenced in yard and enter into the back yard to get to the guest house.

Where you’ll be

New Orleans, Louisiana, United States

Our house is located on a family-friendly street yet is steps from a bustling part of town. Although our neighborhood is considered Uptown, we are less than a mile from the Garden District and the Lower Garden District. A few blocks away is Magazine Street, where you can find award-winning restaurants, coffee shops, snowball stands, bars, boutique shopping, and much more. Just down the street in the other direction is Tchoupitoulas (chop-ah-too-lus) Street, home to several local breweries such as NOLA Brewing, Miel Brewery, Port Orleans Brewing and Urban South Brewing. Tipitina's, a famous music venue, is right around the corner, as is Rouse's, a Louisiana owned grocery store. In the opposite direction of downtown, further Uptown, is the Audubon Zoo, Audubon park and golf course, and Tulane and Loyola Universities. Our neighborhood has the best that New Orleans has to offer if you want to truly experience the city as the locals do!

My husband and I are both from Delaware but have lived in New Orleans since 2013. We love traveling, live music, enjoying local restaurants and breweries, any outdoor activities and spending time with our dogs in our beautiful city!

During your stay

As much or as little as wanted. We live full-time on the property and we have two well-behaved, friendly dogs. We always monitor them in the yard. We will be available to answer any questions you have or to give recommendations.
