This community space can boast without arrogance a splendid view of the Dauladhar range, a refreshing pool, a co-working space, a cafe, an urban farm and lush greenery of sorts. And not forgetting the amazing people there with holistic lifestyles, adventure, innovation and chilldom!

It is located in the village Rakkar - not exactly an agricultural hamlet anymore, especially with the onset of roads. The construction is made in an alternative manner - mud hoses, slate roofs and lots of peace.

The space

Reform for excellence, Technology, Yoga, Chi-gung, meditation, healing, massages, wholesome and healthy living,
Sustainability, Farming, Cooking, Treks to the mountains, Survival camps, Web and mobile app development.
Skill training and knowledge sharing (kids, college students, anyone willing to learn), Music, Waste management. Last but not the least: Making of the Self and Society.

Explorers from all over are welcome. Earthlings with various backgrounds and lines of action, knowledge and expertise live here as family, learn, share and collaborate with each other. We generally take in residents for at least one month, for a deeper engagement and relationship to happen but short stays are welcome too!

This space is the gateway to connect explorers (seekers) from all over the world with the village life and engage in self exploration, local and global projects.

This network of awakened people is an alive environment, with an open source sharing platform giving birth to new ideas and concepts. The community creates and carries out events, workshops and projects.

Everyone who comes here takes something from here. It is all due to the involvement of everyone with each other. Hence we invite such explorers who share the intention of enriched community living. And especially those, who can sow the seeds of birth of this new era.

Ghumakkad is a lovely place to stay in. You will feel it like your home over here. The people, ambience, food everything is so nice about this place. You won't feel like you are at some random place with strangers. Infact you'll feel like you are here with your best friends.

Value for money,,,location is the key,,paradise for trekking ,I think it's the people who make your stay memorable,,and these guys are putting lots of effort ,,which I appreciate,,really good homely food,,I was bored of eating Italian in mcloed,,water is pristine here direct from glaciers,,better than Aquafina,,I think I should also inform future visitors honestly about shared bathroom thing ,,so if possible one should go for 2rooms booking package so that bathroom is collectively used by one family,,overall experience is worth it,,,

Hi, my name is Raghu!! I am from Highderabad. I am an online trader proficient in day trading and technical analysis of stock markets. Enough with the boring part...

I absolutely love traveling, meeting new people, explore cultures and research new ways to chill. Right now I am exploring within India mostly. My most memorable travel experience was to the Himalayas, twice on motorbike. I got to explore almost the entire stretch of North India. Apart from that, I recently did a 2 month solo backpacking trip to South East Asia, chilling over there was amazing. I am mighty ambitious to explore the world by hitch hiking.
