This fully modernized Historic Landmark near downtown Ogden is spacious and a comfortable place with great entertainment options. Privacy, Hot Tub, great Wi-Fi and Smart TV's in all bedrooms. Living Room and Party Room have awesome CableTV with Netflix.

The space

This is an extremely luxurious house with beautiful hardwood floors, impeccable craftsmanship, large windows with tons of natural light, and spacious living areas. Four main bedrooms/bathrooms with King/Queen and accessory bunk beds/sleeper sofas comfortably accommodate up to four families. Very well laid out entertainment areas: upstairs is great for the adults while downstairs there is an enormous cinema/game room with its own kitchen. Our dining room accommodates 8-10 people and offers a very elegant experience. Our outdoor patio furniture seats 12-16 people. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV and stereo for privacy. The rooms are huge and there is ample space for privacy.

We are located in the Eccles Historic District, just a 5 minute drive from downtown Ogden, and a 20-30 minute drive to Snowbasin/Powder Mountain.

Easy access to the Ski Resorts, Downtown, and Freeways.

This property is great for entertaining both adults and children/teens as there are separate areas for both to have their space and have fun.

The house has charm. If your staying in the summer time, the street behind it is great for beautiful walks. It's the right size for a few families. Kids loved the bunk room and the laundry room was so nice to have. We stayed in August and a few days got pretty warm, a couple fans would have helped. The location is convenient, especially if you need a bus. There are bus stops right outside that run almost all night. It was a great experience for the kids, the history of the house and the ones near it was memorable. It's also an advantage for families to be able to cook and eat in together, was a big money saver and very enjoyable. Pool table and ping pong were lots of fun. For families wanting to be together this is a great house!

We had a large group so this place was very accomodating. Plenty of space to hang out and the large dining room was a great place to get together. The house was chilly when we got there due to the radiant heating, took a couple days to warm up, but the showers were nice and hot. The hot tub was definitely nice to come home to after a full day on the slopes. Gray was very responsive and accomodating. Overall great experience.

Charming, simply charming! We arrived just before Christmas, with a large group. We were looking for a place to relax, play boardgames, snowboard, and catch you with some friends and family. There is no other place that could have accommodated all of our needs like the Royal Eccles estate! We had 4 couples and 2 singles. While the singles bunked up in the basement, the couples enjoyed more private accommodations with large rooms and their own separate bathrooms.... however most everyone found an excuse to use the steam shower! Gray was sure to make sure we were well stocked, and comfortable during our stay. The second kitchen also came in handy when cooking Christmas dinner for 10. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree was a nice touch and added to the chaming ambiance of the home. Not only was the host accommodating, everyone in Ogden seemed to enjoy the tourist in town. For skiiers and snowboarders I highly recommend it because a bus runs near the house it connects to both Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. (You are still under an hours drive to the base of Cottonwood canyon.) The laundry room also provided ample space for keeping your gear & drying your boots! Another added bonus was the basement. We spent most evenings there. Pool and Ping pong entertained the competitive types, while the couch, fireplace, and DVD collection took care of the rest! I wouldn't hesitate to staying here here again. P.s. Don't forget your swimsuit, the hot tub was a welcome place after a hard day on the slopes.

Fantastic stay at the Royal Eccles Estate! A really beautiful home with the preserved charm and characteristics of the original craftsman details. If you're into architecture, you will love this home. I stayed in the "green room" which was huge, had a private bath, and a comfortable king bed. The house is located adjacent to the main Eccles estate, and a really charming part of town. I was in town for business, and this offered a more unique and luxury stay vs one of the hotels in town. Gray is a great host who went out of his way to be accommodating and made sure all needs were met...and a genuine nice guy. I look forward to coming back with a group of friends during ski season (this house is perfect for a group or large family).

An active professional who likes to work hard and play! I enjoy skiing and mountain biking in the Rockies. In November I try and sneak away to Central America for some free diving and Mayan Ruin exploration.
