Darlene has done a really nice job on fixing up an older home to make it very comfortable for a family of 5. Everything needed to wash, cook, and enjoy the stay was provided. We choose to stay another day to rest on our trip to Calif. because it was comfortable and fun to stay at.
Darlene provided, and we really appreciated, water/drinks/snacks left for us/visitors on a side table. There was also a house manual with local info. and important house stuff. This was very useful.
Darlene was very communicative and provided the house entry info. needed right on time for a mid-evening arrival. She told us about a special celebration, Orangeville Days, that was happening the day after arrival.
The house is one block away from main street and walking distance to the town park. It is in a quiet and friendly residential area with really wide streets.
We used the stay to break a long road trip and it gave us a wonderful chance for our children to experience a bit of small-town America. The day after arriving there was a parade and fireworks to celebrate the town and Utah's statehood. Those was a special treat. The house was perfect for the break and not too far back to I-70 to continue the trip.
If we are on a road trip again and need a break in this part of the U.S., this Orangeville house will be at the top of our list.
