Perfect location in central Tórshavn. Cozy room in a 1950's stylish designed house within short walking distance from nearly everything in town 1) cultural/historical sites like Tinganes, Skansin, 2) scenic/natural sites like Svartifossur and Boðanes and 3) restaurants like "Toscana", “Áarstova”, “Barbara Fishhouse”, “Ræst” and 5 minutes walk from tourist office, bakery, shops, drugstore, cinema, The National Stadium and the city’s swimming pool. Bus stop is almost right next to the house.

Rare area in the center of Tórshavn with few houses in an unique street. The house is on the main street of the city and at the same time on a special little side street with only 7 older houses. From the garden of the house you can see the mountains and the viewpoint - the basalt obelisk - erected in 1882 to commemorate the visit of the Danish king Christian IX's visit to the Faroe Islands in 1874. In less than 3 minutes you can walk up to this basalt obelisk where you have a splendid view of Tórshavn which by the inhabitants is also called "Havn".
