An upgraded traditional two storey loch side crofting cottage at the peaceful hamlet of Rechullin on the lower slopes of munro Beinn Alligin. With stunning views south over Loch Torridon to Beinn Damph and Ben Shieldaig and East to majestic Laithach. Arguably the best location of any properties in Torridon, the house is fully carpeted with comfortable furniture, an open fire, electric storage heating in every room and all the conveniences you'd expect to help you enjoy your stay.
The space
Private location at the end of the inveralligin road. Comfortable Sitting room. Living room/Dining room with open fire. Downstairs Toilet with Bath and separate shower. All three bedrooms are upstairs (14 steps). Kitchen has Electric cooker / Microwave / Fridge Freezer / and Washer/Dryer. Electric Storage Heating and water heater. Private 9 hole pitch and putt. No pets please.
Guest access
All parts of the house are accessible. The shed is available for bike storage.

There is a landline phone, any calls on this should be paid for separately.
Other things to note
As of 25th September 2020, in Scotland, mixed households are not permitted in self catering accommodation until further notice. Guests must confirm that they are not breaking any travel restrictions and must observe all social distancing, face covering rules and hand hygiene at all times.
If you like a real fire, coal, logs or peat can be purchased at Torridon stores shop, or if you book well in advance ( at least 2 weeks) I can arrange for a bag of coal to be delivered at extra cost ( approx. £10 per 25kg bag). I have added a £150 security deposit to cover damage or needlessly dirty carpets.
I do not allow pets, please don't ask.

Semi retired IT Specialist now concentrating on my holiday cottages at Rechullin. Both houses at Rechullin have been in my family since they were built more than 200 years ago. I've been holidaying here since i was born and was lucky enough to buy out my relatives shares to take full ownership of both houses. The Upper house was where my Great Grandfather was born and his cousins lived in the lower house. The big stone barn below the house was also used as a house until 100 years ago.
