It was such an amazing stay! Chantal's husband met us right away when we arrived and gave us so much help renting skis from the local shop where we got a discount and he let us use his locker. Thank you Chantal and Thié so much for a wonderful opportunity to visit La Thuile. Your place is absolutely adorable and so perfect and cute. We loved it so much.

Perfect location right in the center of La Thuile just around the corner from La Grott restaurant. Pleasant short walk to main ski lift station

Very cozy apartment in a little cul-de-sac off the main road. The pictures don't do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the apartment for the first time. It was also very easy to find.

The studio is located in the middle of the old village on the ground floor and is not easy to find without great help from Chantal. There is no view and just 1 window so it is quite dark (in a very small and dark street). But the studio is very well arranged, fully equiped and was warm at our arrival and this was really appreciated. Restaurants/café are just around. The ski locker arrangement which comes with the studio is a very good point. No need to carry all stuff with us between the cable car and the studio (around 15 minutes walk). It is OK for a 2 nights stay and just for sleeping.

We stayed 6 nights in the first week of March. The apartment is small but warm and cozy. It was equipped with everything you need for a self contained unit - including a fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave/grill, plenty of cooking utensils. There was even a hairdryer which was excellent! The place was always very warm for drying clothes after being on the slopes all day. The location was excellent with shops, a pharmacy, an information office, bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The cable car to the pistes was within a 10 minute walk. We had hired a car and there was a free car park within a 2 minute walk from the unit. We were unable to ski one day due to strong winds and the apartment had plenty of dvds and a great tv for us to entertain ourselves with for a few hours! Chantal was extremely friendly and provided excellent directions to find the apartment. She also offered information for hiring skis and obtaining lessons. The area itself is excellent for skiing but would lean towards an intermediate level as there are few beginner runs. Some locals told me the conditions were particularly bad for the time of year but I thought they were excellent compared to other resorts so you can assume conditions will always be good enough to ski! If I return to La Thuile I will definitely look to stay in the same place. Many thanks! Ryan and Leanne

The apartment is small but cosy and situated in an excellent location within La Thuile. All the amenities you may need are very close, including tourist information office, pharmacy, church, restaurants and shops all within a 2 minute walking distance. The cable car to the pistes is also less than 10 minutes away on foot. The apartment is also equipped with all the basic necessities you may need and was clean and comfortable. Chantal is also a very friendly and a very helpful host. She saw to all our needs during our stay, and particularly before, on our way since on the day of our arrival there was heavy snowfall throughout most of northern Italy. In fact Chantal kept in touch, informing me about the changing weather and road conditions. She alo saw to our requirements for ski lessons and ski rental. Thanks. The only mishap we had was that, although I had planned to arrive to La Thuile via the road SS26 from Pre-saint Didier, our GPS took us through SR39, from Morgex, which was totally snowed up. Thus we had to fit snow chains and it took us ages to arrive. However SR39 was cleared up later that week and was completely drivable as well. Chantal also took the hassle to wait for us and communicate with us, even though we arrived after 2300... All in all, an excellent apartment for a wonderful holiday where we skied on the excellent pistes of La Thuile and visited Morgex, Aosta, Courmayeur, Chamonix, Aiguille du Midi and Annecy.
