A cosy base between Loch Lomond and Glasgow

The space
Aspen Apartment is a cosy flat near the centre of Dumbarton and less than 5 minutes' walk from Dumbarton Central station. Loch Lomond and the wonderful scenery of the Lomond & Trossachs National Park are only 10 minutes away by car or train. In 25 minutes you can be in the centre of Glasgow.

The double bedroom has a comfortable bed with hotel-quality bedlinen. Blackout curtains at the windows keep the room dark on light summer nights. There's ample space for belongings with a wardrobe, bedside table and chest of drawers. The bathroom comprises a shower, washbasin and toilet. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided.

The kitchen area has a cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle and microwave, as well as a great collection of pans and kitchen utensils. Tea, coffee and sugar and an assortment of condiments, herbs and spices are provided.

The living room has a large sofa bed, TV with DVDs, books and games as well as strong Wifi throughout the apartment.

Dumbarton is a great place to stay if you want to do exploring with lots of great mountains to climb just a wee drive away. The train station which is a 2 minute walk away has a train going into Balloch every 30 minutes and trains to the centre of Glasgow every 15 minutes.

Dumbarton is a great place to stay if you are wanting to explore the Loch Lomond area. There are lots of great walks and mountains to climb just a short drive or train ride away.
There's plenty to see in Dumbarton itself. The Scottish Maritime Museum including the Denny Tank are well worth visiting, as is Dumbarton Castle on Dumbarton Rock. Levengrove Park (5 mins from the Apartment) provides a wonderful outdoor space and the Meadow Centre nearby has a swimming pool and fitness centre.
