This is an historic property for Pompano Beach. Built in the 1940s, this small complex comprised the first "resort" cottages when everything else was pineapple fields. It is also a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation for native and migrating birds and butterflies in a special program for businesses, backyards and schools. Cottages are very clean, with lush landscaping and everything you need in your home-away-from-home. Enjoy full kitchens, free Wi-fi, king beds plus sleeper sofa, beach gear and a host of amenities to make you feel right at home. Enjoy your own George Foreman electric grill on your private porch. A coin laundry is also on property, with detergent, dryer sheets and stain remover supplied for you.
Miles of shoreline allow for long, uninterrupted runs or walks. Looking north, you’ll see our fishing pier (a new one is under construction) and historic Hillsboro lighthouse. Shipwreck Park, with 16 awesome wrecks including the 234-foot Lady Luck, is only one mile offshore. The beachfront includes a "great lawn" with yoga classes every morning and monthly free live concerts and free movies on Friday nights. There's also an interactive fountain for kids, a concession stand including adult beverages, rental bikes, first-come first serve oceanfront charcoal grills and clean restrooms. It’s a short walk to dozens of great local restaurants, shops, boat rentals, diving/snorkeling boats, party and charter fishing boats, day spa, gym, pharmacy, banks and more.
Interaction with guests
I try to greet as many of our guests as possible upon arrival to get them settled and answer their questions (they are asked to give me a call when they land at the airport, or if driving in, when they are about an hour out). If they arrive very late, they have their own code for keyless entry for self-check-in to their cottage, and they call me the next morning once they're up. After arrival, I give my guests space, but am available when needed.
My cell phone number and our maintenance chief's cell number are included on the very first page of the Guest Book on the coffee table. Guests know they can call me any time for assistance.

- - No additional overnight guests or more than two daytime visitors without prior approval by property manager (additional charges may apply). No smoking or smoke odors inside the apartment or in common areas of the property. Smoking is allowed on your private, screened-in porch or patio with all exterior doors and windows of the cottage closed. No cooking of fish or foods with strong odors inside the apartment so apartment is odor-free for the next guests (use outdoor BBQ instead). Maintain property and contents in as good a condition as when guest arrived. Leave apartment in “broom swept” condition. We do the heavy cleaning after you leave. DO put out your garbage and wash and put away your dishes. Launder all linens except those used on your last night and day of your stay. Guest agrees to pay for all damage or theft caused by guest. Guest will contact owner or manager as soon as possible if damage to property is observed. Observe quiet times between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. so as not to disturb other guests. No pets without advance approval from property in writing and advance payment of pet fee. No illegal activity. No guests under 23 without parent or legal guardian. One parking space allowed per apartment rented.
